50 Cent Falls Victim To Credit Card Fraud
Two men allegedly tried to go on a spending spree using Fif's Amex.
As far as emcees go, 50 Cent's credit line must be somewhere near the top of the list.
So when two men allegedly tried to make unauthorized purchases using his American Express account, the pair likely though they hit the jackpot.
Not so, according to a report by the New York Daily News. Apparently, thieves tried to use 50's account information to order two Sony flat-screen televisions worth about $1,000 each.
The owner of the store in which the fraudulent purchase was made became suspicious and did not deliver the televisions. When the thieves wanted to know why they hadn't received the television, the store owner told them over the phone that they could pick them up.
Two men arrived in a rented car to pick up the televisions, and were promptly arrested, though a source reports that they were not the "masterminds behind the attempted crime."
This is at least the fifth time since 2007 that someone has tried to make an unauthorized purchase using the rapper's information.

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne has come forward to dismantle gossip claiming he has found a new love in an older woman spotted with him on numerous occasions.
Calling the rumors ridiculous, Wayne said the female in question is actually his stylist.
"Everybody out there owe somebody a real big apology. This Marissa right here, this is my stylist," Wayne said in a video. "See, this is the reason I'm flyer than all you n*ggas, you understand? This is my stylist, she's been my stylist for years...There's a rumor out right now saying this is my girl 'cause I had my arm around her. My arm is around her right now, my arm is always around her, this is my dude. This is my homie right here. Wayne's dating speculation emerged online earlier this week.
Lil Wayne was photographed with his arm around a new, older woman at an after party for the I Am Music II Tour, which rolled in ATL this past weekend. According to Sandrarose.com, Wayne and the woman rarely left each other's side in the VIP area of Compound all night. Spies said that although the woman kept a close watch on Wayne all night, she didn't "blink an eye" when he showed love to his female fans. (Industry All Access)

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne will keep fans waiting until the summer for his long-awaited Tha Carter IV album by reportedly delaying its release.
According to weekend reports, the solo LP is now projected to hit stores in June.

At least, that's what has been reported by Matt at Rap Dose, who spoke with a producer who's close to Weezy. No reason has been given as to why it's been delayed (AGAIN), but it apparently has nothing to do with the rumored track list that leaked earlier this week. Police Search For 24-Year-Old Woman Beaten Bloody And Dragged From Her Home By Ex-Boyfriend

Police are searching for a 24-year-old woman who was kidnapped from her home in Simi Valley Sunday night. Investigators said they are hoping to find her as soon as possible because they believe her life is in danger.
“Keisha Marshall was dragged from her home bleeding heavily,” said Simi Valley Police Lt. Joseph May. “She is a previous victim of domestic violence, and we believe she was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend, 28-year-old Rashaun Bailey.”
It happened in the 2600 block of Bloom Street at about 9:40 p.m. A relative of the victim was home and heard the victim scream during the kidnapping, said Lt. May. The suspect is from Texas, and police said they believe he might try to return there with Marshall.
She is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 138 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple dress, said police.
The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
“Bailey forced Marshall into a white 2000 Ford Crown Victoria, with black push bars in the front,” said Lt. May. “The vehicle has tinted windows all around, 24-inch wheels, with a Texas license plate number B-C-5-B-7-0-0.”
Lt. May also added they believe the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

Bun B Hints At Future Jay-Z and DJ Premier Collaborations, Talks Teaching...
Texas emcee Bun B has been busy as co-lecturer of a course at Rice University but he's also preparing to release a new album and he's been collaborating with various people. Bun B is now trying to establish himself even more as a solo artist and in a recent interview with Conspiracy Radio, he spoke about his new job teaching and some upcoming collaborations, including one that will potentially pair him up with Jay-Z again.
When asked about his new job teaching informing his rhyme writing, he noted that somethings may change, but much of what he does will remain familiar to longtime supporters.
"Well, I want to make sure that I don't change the direction of my music because of the fact that I teach. That being said, there are moments of enlightenment that I have become aware of based on the class and I will be willing to share that," he said. "Even though there is some very profound moments, dealing with many different religions and being educated about many different things, I'm sure at some point, maybe on a song somewhere, some of these things may be incorporated. I wouldn't think that the general direction of my music or my career is going to change that drastically from what people are already used to. I don't think that would be true. There are somethings that are going to be different and we are going to address that but there are still going to be somethings that are going to remain the same and we're going to be true to that, as well."
As he works on new music, he added that one potential collaborator is Jay-Z. While maintaining a level of mystery to his statement, he went on to say that it wouldn't be too hard to see them link up once more.
"Let's just say that Jay-Z and I have been in communication. I can't really say who called who, but Jay-Z and I have been in communication and I think people expecting a Bun B/Jay-Z collaboration in the near future might not be let down."
According to Bun B, his next album may just be his first self-titled effort. It's still in the early stages, but he noted that fans may also be treated to a collaboration with DJ Premier, who he says he would be happy to work with again.
"We've done it [collaborated on "Let 'Em Know"] and people loved it. Now we're sitting around like, 'What were we waiting for?'" -KING RANSUM-

Former BET Employee Sues Network Over Sexual Harassment Claims
BET has been hit with a sexual discrimination lawsuit by a former employee, over incidents that occurred while producing segments for BET.com.
The lawsuit was filed April 13th in The Supreme Court in the State of NewYork County of Bronx by Tameika Dorman.
According to the complaint, in February of 2009, Ms. Dorman was editing a video session with a male camera operator named Derek Clarke, who works in the graphics department for BET.
The pair were putting together a previously taped segment that Ms. Dorman was hosting and producing.
"During this editing session, Clarke subjected Ms. Dorman to acts of sexual harassment by repeatedly re-playing video footage of her rear end while she was dressed in a short skirt while walking up a set of stairs."
According to Ms. Dorman's lawsuit, she asked Clarke why he kept replaying the footage of her butt.
"Clarke grabbed and repeatedly rubbed his crotch, began to moan and said it was because he loved her butt, that she was sexy and that she did not know what he was going to do [to] her."
Ms. Dorman complained to a supervisor over the incident, who said she would never have to work with Clarke again.
When Clarke was assigned to work on a NickiMinaj segment with Ms. Dorman, she complained to Human Resources.
Ms. Dorman claimed she was eventually removed from producing the BET Hip-Hop Honors show and fired for reporting her claim of sexual harassment.
She also claims her termination was "both retaliatory and based on her gender, including her pregnancy."
Ms. Dorman seeks monetary damages, discriminatory practices, unlawful termination and lawyer fees. -KING RANSUM-
